"Freedom is not Free" This monument is in solemn recognition of the sacrifices and leadership of the men and women of Box Elder County who gave their lives to preserve a free society, built the peace and gave to future generations the precious gift of freedom.
The names of those that lost their lives in the Korean War are listed as followed:
Anderson, Nathan H. Hurd, Bernie
Bradford, Dennis B. Larkin, Lorin H.
Connley, Clayton Rodgers, Charles E.
Gleason, John H. Vandewerker, Patrick W.
Hardaway, Tom Wadman, Grant L. (MIA)
This monument also lists the names of the men and women who gave their lives in the cause of freedom and liberty in the great World Wars, The Vietnam Conflict, and Iraqi Freedom.
