KAIYUKAN Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in the world. Allow yourself and your family at least 2 hours to visit all of the exhibits.
Opening hours: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The ticket counter is closed an hour before the closing time.
The opening hours may be adjusted according to the season.
Closed days in 2011: Seven days a year (in June and in winter)
January 11 (Tue.), January 12 (Wed.), January 13 (Thu.), February 16 (Wed.), February 17 (Thu.), June 22 and June 23.
*During the specified days and the summer vacation(May 1, May 2, May 6 to May 31, July 23 to August 12, August 17 to August 31, and October 1 to November 30): 9:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
*During Golden week holidays and Obon festival period (May 3 to May 5, and August 13 to August 16): 8:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
