This is a fun and informative museum, there is plenty of exciting things to see and do. The exhibits and displays are geared for both adults and children. You are free to explore the museum on your own only after you complete your tour. The staff is very friendly, willing to address all types of questions. They offer programs for child education and an adult lecture series.

The location includes a childrens play area called Truassic Park that includes a zip line.

From the Museum Website:
The Akron Fossils and Science Center is a museum and Science Center, which is dedicated to teaching Creation Science and intelligent design models in contrast to Evolutionary models.
Because it is not possible to test scientifically and empirically an event that has occurred in the past, we must look to the evidence before us and seek to answer the following: Does the evidence best support an evolutionary model or a creation science model. Which of the models best predicts what we observe and are able to test? You see TRUTH BEGS FOR SCRUTINY AND FALSEHOOD BEGS FOR TOLERANCE. Come and see our fascinating fossils and displays as we pose the questions of life and open the doors of truth.
