Bangkok, the capital of the Kingdom of Thailand, is one of the larger cities in the world, with maybe twelve million bustling (and friendly) people. More if the surrounding regions are included. It is administered by an elected mayor and a legislature. The city hall building is located somewhere near the amorphous 'centre' of Bangkok, not that Bangkok has a single centre.
On the road side of the large courtyard in front of the City Hall is this fountain. Attractive in design, it seems to be in operation only in the cool of the late afternoon and evening (as with many fountains in Thailand).
