The Seattle Monorail was built for the 1962 World's Fair. It is privately owned. It carries 1.5 million people annually. Round-trips for adults cost $4,$2.00 for seniors 65+, disabled, and persons with Medicare cards and $1.50 for those aged 5 to 12. It operates everyday except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
