The Lady Justice is a replica of an earlier figure which was placed in 1855 when the building was constructed. The replica was placed after the earlier statue was damaged significant by Hurricane Bob in 1991. The replica was placed during building restoration in 1992. The sculpture is that of a blindfolded female figure hold a sword in one hand and scales in the other.
