The typical eye-catching image at White Eagle service stations was the molded white glass eagle globe atop each pump; later these were replaced with a round globe with the eagle image upon it. Some stations had a large concrete or cast iron eagle sitting on a statue base in front of the station. White Eagle was eventually sold to Socony (Standard Oil) and then was purchased by Mobil when the eagle image was replaced by the flying red horse. This stucco station is now home to Paxton Street Auto Repair.
