It appears that the stone may have originally included a sundial but all that remains is the plinth. There are several inscriptions on the stone:
'Erected to commemorate the Jubilee year of scouting and centenary of the birth of Baden Powell by Biggleswade and district boy scouts local association 1857-1907-1957.'
'The year of The Scout 1907-1982.'
'Biggleswade scouting 1909-2009.'
The stone is in the centre of Biggleswade near the war memorial.
