Sitting out in front of the Vander Haag Museum in Sanborn is the rusted remains of a 1928 Chevy 1-ton truck. It had a 4 cylinder, 4-speed transmission, with a wood body, box, and spokes on the wheels. The grave marker on the vehicle reads: “May you rust and rot in peace.” This great vintage vehicle is easily seen along Hwy. 18 on the museum lawn.
