Khao San Rd in central Bangkok is famous as an international backpacker destination—a mix of people from all over the world can be found here. Of course, to service the needs of these folk there are bars, restaurants, travel agents, and, naturally, hotels. One of these is the Khaosan Palace (though some would say that the term 'palace' is a slight exaggeration).
Above this multi-story edifice is a big, bright, green neon sign, which is visible along the street. Easy to find.
