The Fidelity National Building was designed by the firm of Sorey Hill & Sorey and was constructed in 1956-1957 at the northeast corner of Park and Harvey in downtown Oklahoma City. This is an 18-story steel-frame and concrete building, with a basement. The ground floor was designed for commercial retail space, with the upper 16 floors as office space, with a recessed mechanical level on the 18th floor.

The building received its name with the occupancy of the Fidelity National Bank in the basement, first and second floors of the building. The bank remained at this location until 1972. At that time, the building was renamed the Park Harvey Center. It continued as an office building until 2005 when the building was purchased for conversion into high-rise apartments.

The building is clad in aluminum and enameled steel in three shades of brown. The International Style accentuates strong horizontal and vertical lines. Alternate rows of horizontal medium brown aluminum spandrells and two-part windows give the building its horizontal look. The horizontal effect is further enhanced with the use of a band of dark brown aluminum panels at the first and seventeenth floors. At the corners of the building, vertical panels of light brown aluminum, as well as narrow light brown vertical panels separating the building walls into five bays, portray the strong vertical lines.

The primary entrance on the west is recessed with two sets of paired aluminum framed doors. Above the doors is raised letters is the current name of the building, "PARK HARVEY CENTER." A similar entrance is on the south side of the building.

The apartments which occupy the upper levels of this building are studio, one- and two-bedroom units. There is a large athletic club, a sushi restaurant and a sports lounge in the building for tenants.
