Beautiful old home in Clyde, New York.
Originally built to be an Italianate style home, construction was completed in 1910 with the Ely family living there for two generations. Over the years it served as a private residence, veteran's home, and multiple homes for low-income housing, until it was condemned in 2006.
The home has had a colorful and notorious history as a private residence for various families, a veterans' home and multi-family low-income housing, until its condemnation in 2006.
The home still has much of the original craftsmanship including multiple marble fireplaces, mahogany and teak mantles, parquet floors, gold leaf wall coverings, ornately carved beams and pillars, and stained and leaded glass.
It is now a bed & breakfast.
