On the roof of Renaissance burgher house located in the south side of main public space of town Litomerice - Mírové námestí (Peace Square) you can find unusual historic look-out tower called "Kalich" ("Chalice").
The look-out tower of unusual shape, built in 16th century by rich Mraz family, serves nowadays as target for visitors of town Litomerice. The tower, accessible by steep stairway directly from the house (where is Tourist Information Centre and also where you can pay entrance fee), offers beautiful 360° vista over Litomerice and pictoresque landscape of Czech Central Mountains (Ceské stredohorí) region.
