The board details the trails around the woodland and the descriptions of the totem poles within the sculpture trail. The plantation consists of some fine trees including Alder, Ash, Beech, Field Maple and Oak. Unfortunately some oak trees are suffering from Sudden Oak Death and these have been turned into sculptures where available.

Sometimes black squirrels can be seen here and many birds including the woodpecker. A bank of snowdrops was in full bloom when we visited.
