This monument is located in the street median in front of the factory which was the site of an awful strike in 1905.

This strangely shaped monument has a plaque which has a small hole in it's center...but it reads (or would have read):
"A LOS OBREROS TEXTILES DE BELLAVISTA
HOMENAJE DEL PUEBLO Y GOBIERNO
DE NAYARIT EN EL OCTAGESIMO
ANIVERSARIO DEL MOVIMIENTO HUELGISTICO
SINDICAL PRECURSOR DE LA REVOLUCION
MEXICANA EN NAYARIT.
BELLEVISTA, NAY. MARZO-20-1985"
translated into English:
"TO THE TEXTILE WORKERS OF BELLAVISTA
HONORING THE PEOPLE AND GOVERNMENT
OF NAYARIT ON THE 80TH
ANNIVERSARY OF THE LABOR STRIKE MOVEMENT -
PRECURSOR TO THE MEXICAN REVOLUTION IN NAYARIT
BELLAVISTA, NAY. MARCH- 20- 1985"
