El Nino Volador is located on the University of Tulsa campus, on the east side of the Alexander Hogue Gallery.
A nude male is standing, with his arms in front of him grabbing hold of a nude boy's left arm and left leg. The man is spinning the young boy so that the boy feels like he is flying. The man is leaning back slightly to balance as he swings the boy. The boy's right arm is straight out to help in his flight.
The sculpture is on a tiered foundation in a grassy area on campus.
