Willkommen in den Gasometern!
1899 wurden die vier Gasometer mit dem Gaswerk Simmering als größtes Gaswerk Europas eröffnet. Die rund 70 Meter hohen Gasbehälter wurden 2001 revitalisiert und mit Wohnungen, einem Studentenwohnheim, Kino und Einkaufszentrum sowie einer Veranstaltungshalle belebt.

Welcome to the Gasometer!
In 1899 the four Gasometer were opened to the gas plant Simmering as the largest gas plant in Europe. The 70-meter gas containers were revitalized in 2001 and with apartments, student housing, cinema and shopping center and a meeting hall to life.
