This vintage service station has been preserved as a museum in a town that boasts having “857 Friendly People and One Old Grump.” The Readlyn Historical Society has been maintaining the memoirs if this small community since 1994. Two antique gas pumps (Conoco and Champlin) stand outside the small brick building to remind visitors of days gone by when one could fill up the tank for a handful of change. Note the last price of gas on the Champlin pump was .14 per gallon.
