The Tillamook Forest Center is a new facility designed for education and recreation. The building houses a theatre that shows movies relating the history of the forest. Many interactive displays allow children to discover the secrets of forest life. There are hiking trails that follow the Wilson River and wind into the hills behind the center. A large wood bridge crosses the Wilson River behind the facility. Bring a picnic and enjoy nature.
