This is the sculpture of a nymph. It is located in the park called 'Anlagensee' in Tübingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.
The sculpture was built 1910 by Karl Merz a local artist from Tübingen.
The original place of this sculpture was at the Neckarmüller until 1961.
The model for the nymph was a riddle for many years. Noboby knew who she was. But the riddle could be solved: it was Elise Bäder.
In 2005 the sculpture was renovated.
