Description of Memorial:
The memorial is a bronze plaque mounted on a granite stone. There is a flag pole beside the stone. It is interesting that the date on the plaque is 1951, two years before the Korean War ended. Noticed the memorial while driving past it. Came back a couple of days later. The roadside park where the memorial is located is somewhat run down.
