The dedication of this tree was dedicated to honour Mr. Harvey Fraser's contribution to the Ontario Horticultural Association as President in 1966. The dedication recognizes the dedicated volunteers in the Association without whom, the Association wouldn’t exist.

The Ontario Horticultural Association is a volunteer, charitable organization who's mission is to provide leadership and assist in the promotion of education and interest in all areas of horticulture and related environmental issues in Ontario, through an expanding network of horticultural societies dedicated to the beautification of their communities. As president of the Association, Mr. Fraser made a signification contribution toward the Association's mission.
