The Jordan River runs north-south through the center of the Salt Lake Valley, just west of, and parallel to Interstate 15. This waymark is at the parking area of the Gardner Village access to the parkway trail.
Along this popular walking and biking trail you will find park benches, picnic tables, restrooms and canoe marinas.
The parkway trail winds through wetlands near the river. Wildlife includes many kinds of fish, foxes and other mammals, plus a variety of birds.
