Wikipedia raconte que Lexington est une ville située dans l’État du Kentucky, aux États-Unis. Elle est située dans la région du Bluegrass (l'herbe bleue), célèbre pour sa musique et ses pâturages. Avec 266 000 habitants en 2003 (422 000 avec l’agglomération), c'est la deuxième ville du Kentucky après Louisville. La ville est considérée comme étant la « capitale mondiale du cheval ». L'économie locale s'est développée autour de l'élevage de chevaux, de la production de tabac, de bourbon et des produits manufacturés. L'une des attractions les plus fameuses de Lexington est le Kentucky Horse Park. D'ailleurs, en 2010, Lexington a accueilli les Jeux équestres mondiaux. De célèbres ventes de chevaux de courses se déroulent tous les ans autour de l'hippodrome de Keeneland.

With 266 000 inhabitants in 2003 (422,000 with the agglomeration), the second city in Kentucky after Louisville. The city is considered the "horse world capital. " The local economy has developed around horse breeding, production of tobacco, bourbon and manufactured goods. One of the most famous attractions in Lexington is the Kentucky Horse Park. Moreover, in 2010, Lexington hosted the World Equestrian Games. Sales of famous racehorses are held every year around the Keeneland Racecourse.
