This is Durham County's Memorial (as the monument reads on the front) In Memory of "The Boys Who Wore the Gray".
The monument features the Great Seal of the Confederate States of America on the front and the stylized CSA logo on the back. On the sides are the dedication date and the inscription, "This Memorial Erected by the People of Durham County", along with crossed Confederate battle flags.
This monument stand about 15 feet high and is located in front of the Old County Courthouse in Durham.
