Niedere Mühle (the lower mill) is located at a little river that used to be the Western border of the village many years ago. There is a millstone pole in the building dated from 1564, so it must be at least this old. It was in use until the 1930s and was larger then. After the mill closed the area was used as a nursery for some years, several side buildings were teared down in the 1970s, that is why the remaining water wheel is some distance away from the last remaining building that is also abandoned today.
