This Dairy Queen has a great location under an escalator, common for ice cream stores in malls here, with great visibility. Only ice cream, but the usual great DQ treats including Blizzards. There is no seating here.
The Mall of Asia, reported by most sources as the third largest in Asia, officially opened on May 20, 2006, inaugurated by Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. It is the ambitious project of Henry Sy and his SM Holdings Group which operates over 40 modern malls in the Philippines. The mall has 4.2 square feet of leasable space and nearly 600 stores.
The mall is much more than just a shopping center, but also an entertainment complex with its ice rink, IMAX theater, 31-lane bowling center, arcades, carousels, and open spaces for children's activities, concerts, and, of course, the Pyrotechnic Olympics out on the Esplanade.
