Public house. Circa 1760-70. Vitreous header brick with red brick quoins, window surrounds, moulded plinth and moulded dentil eaves. Old
tile roof, rebuilt brick chimney between left bays. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Ground floor left bay rebuilt C20. C19-C20 tripartite sashes to ground floor, 3-light barred wooden casements to first floor, all with gauged heads. Narrower blind window panels with similar heads to first floor between bays, the left with remains of County fire insurance plaque.
6-panelled door, top-lit, between right bays has wooden doorcase with
fluted Doric pilasters, triglyph frieze, pediment, and panelled reveals. Another entrance to left in No.2.
