In the Kahurangi National Park, Hawkes Lookout can be visited when driving over the Takaka Hill, between Motueka and Takaka. A well formed path, and in places wooden boardwalk takes you out to a viewing platform. Here you are rewarded with scenic views of the Riwaka Valley and Tasman Bay.
