The memorial is a Celtic Cross design within its own enclosure with an ornate fence of metal poppies. Bedding plants provide colour in two flower beds within the memorial area with a small, shaped box hedge behind.
The inscription reads:
'IN GRATEFUL AND GLORIOUS MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH
WHO FOUGHT AND OF THE FOLLOWING WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1918.
