Blake Pier at Stanley is a situated beside Murray House. Originally located in Central, Blake Pier was first dismantled in 1965 has returned to its role as a public pier in Stanley in 2007. The pier was named after Sir Henry Arthur Blake, the twelfth governor of Hong Kong. In the 1960's, all new Governor of Hong Kong disembarked at Blake Pier to assume their office. For this reason the pier was also known as Royal Pier.
