The memorial is located inside a grassy rotary at the parking lot in front of the Burington Twp. Municipal Building. There are three equally spaced circles with a fourth circle in the middle. In the middle are these benchlike copings which intermittently circumscribe the inner circle. On this outer circle are the names of the wars including the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Mexican War, Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I & II, the Korean War and Vietnam War. Also incised in the stone are names if KIA soldiers with the inscription In Remembrance Lest We Forget Our Honored Dead on the red, molded stone. On another part of the broken circle is a Milton Quote which is Brave Men and Worthy Patriots, Dear to God, And Famous to All Ages. The quote originates from his Tractate of Education written in 1644. The stanza and poem represents Milton's most comprehensive statement on educational reform and give voice to hsi views "concerning the best and noblest way id education". Not too sure how this was picked to go here, but there it is.

There is also a fifth, much smaller circle in the center of the inner circle with a flag pole rising up from it. The molded, stone, retaining wall which surrounds the flag has the main dedication inscription. It reads: Dedicated to the Dead of All Wars Who Gave Their Lives in the Service of Their Country.
