Hontoon 1935 - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

After taking a ferry or boat to get to Hontoon Island State Park, there's a gorgeous park to explore and hike through. With some beautiful and amazing trees (some set back off the trail a bit).

To find this specific mark, travel the Tumucuan Trail Road until you come to the Hammock Hiking trail. Down the trail you come to a large intersection with River to River Road. Set in concrete on the ground at the intersection of the Hammock Trail and River To River Road Trail on Hontoon Island. Out in the open and impossible to miss.
