One of the most beautiful Baroque entrance doors with richly decorated portal you can find at Thun-Hohenstein Palace (Thun-Hohenštejnský palác) in Nerudova street ni Prague's Lesser Town.
The palace's front façade is decorated by a majestic Baroque portal with two large heraldic eagles from the coat-of-arms of the Kolowrat family (original owner of the palace) and statues of Jupiter with an eagle and Juno with a peacock, by leading Bohemian Baroque sculptor Matyáš B. Braun. Also a massive Baroque iron door with exceptionally well restored forged floral decoration is example of fine smith handcraft.
Monumental Thun-Hohenstein Palace (Thun-Hohenštejnský palác) in Nerudova streed bellow the Castle, the seat of Italian Embassy in Prague, is one of the most beautiful examples of secular, Baroque architecture in the city.
