Vintage Gasoline Pump, Granite, IA - Vintage Gasoline Pumps on Waymarking.com

This great looking gas pump dates back to the time when all service stations provided service. Now it stands as a monument to a time gone by amongst a gathering of historical buildings in Granite’s city park and old threshers’ grounds. Although there is no specific brand of gas on the pump itself, its identity is suggested on a nearby sign that says: Mobil Regular. The 30’s vintage pump stands in front of an old fashioned “convenience” store where mementoes of service stations are displayed in the windows; the “comfort facility” inside is a traditional outhouse.
