A simple stone wayside shrine with metal cross on the top. It was created in 1715 as thanks for survival of the plague epidemic in 1711-14. The shrine stands in the green near Tyl Square.

Prostá kamenná sloupková boží muka s kovaným krížem na vrcholu. Byla vytvorena roku 1715 jako podekování za odvrácení morové epidemie v letech 1711–14. Ta se sice Novému Knínu nevyhnula, mela zde však mnohem mírnejší prubeh než napríklad v nedaleké Dobríši. Sloup stojí v zeleni poblíž Tylova námestí.
