Long Description:
Japanese meditation garden is designed for the broad public. Its mission is to create an oasis for visitors to rest and relax, bring a value other than the present material world, to create an environment to become acquainted with Japanese culture.
Garden is located twenty minutes east from the center of Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic in the picturesque town Ricany. Just five minutes by car from the D1 motorway from Prague to Brno.
The project is implemented, maintained and sponsored by non-governmental organizations JOURNEY TO SPIRITUALITY, with the support of town Rícany and other institutions. The designe was produced by Osamu Okamura, and develop by Takumi Mizokami and Peter Typlt.
The first part was open to the general public 7.7.2007.
