This is one of thirteen small schools in the former Pleasant Prairie school system. Each school was considered its own school district. This system was abandend in 1963 when Pleasant Prairie joined the Kenosha Unified School District No. 1
By 1967 the Kenosha Unified School District built new larger schools and these old school building were sold. This school building was used for a church for a short period of time but is empty at this time.
