This gate and it's reliefs are from the 1915 Pan American Exposition.
The reliefs depicts an Indian woman on the left side representing the Pacific Ocean as it flows into the Atlantic represented by a European male figure. The date 1915 is in the center. The crest of the City of San Diego is near the top of the gate.
