This Museum is located at 1649 El Prado in the basement of the Casa de Balboa Building. This is the largest indoor model railroad display in the world.

In addition to wall displays of antique model trains, most of the space in this Museum is taken up by working model train exhibits which are built to scale to local San Diego geography. The Museum also hosts educational events and has a library of materials related to model and prototype railroads.
