The Cottonwood B and B is a superlative example of the adobe style of architecture that defines New Mexico and makes it unique in the United States. As you wander throughout the 7,000+ square foot house you'll find wood-burning kiva fireplaces (11 of them!), dozens of vigas - both shaved and raw, latilla-lined ceilings, nichos containing local art, bancos surrounding private kiva fireplaces, saltillo and hand-painted tiles, and massive lintels which serve to support equally massive hand-carved doors.
