Pearl Harbor Memorial - Deming, NM - World War II Memorials / Monuments on Waymarking.com

This memorial is located in Veterans Park which adjacent to, and just south of, the Deming Luna Mimbres Museum in the 300 block of South Silver Avenue. The park is quite small and all of it is visible from the side walk. The Pearl Harbor memorial is on the right side of the park, about 25 feet from the sidewalk and is surrounded by grass. There is on street parking immediately in front of the memorial.

The monument is gray granite with a vertical center section which has inscriptions on the front and back. To each side are the insignias of the four branches of the armed forces who were defending our country at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. At the top of the center section is the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association insignia.
