A stone memorial in the City Hall memorial as a tribute to Harry Ambler O.B.E. Q.P.M. Hon. M.A. who was Chief Constable between 1957 and 1973.

This memorial is in the memorial garden on Norfolk Gardens down the side of the City Hall.
There are a number of memorials in the garden behind fairly low hedges. There is no indication that the memorials are here and it is easy to miss them. This is the middle memorial of a group of 3 at the front of the memorial garden.
The memorial stands vertically from the ground is made of stone. It was recently located as part of the preparations for the new city park area.
The inscription is in black lettering reads.
