The Aberystwyth Old College was originally build as a Victorian hotel, but as the creator ran out of money he went bust and had to sell up for 20% of the building cost to the people who formed the University of Wales Aberystwyth.
It is make out of sandstone and is in VERY good condition considering it faces the sea in a place that often floods.
