Both of these guns are locate in the Woodlawn Veterans section on the east side of the cemetery. The guns are 4.7 inch, Model 1906 M1 guns from 1919. They are each mounted on a wheeled carriage. Both of the guns were probably used as training/practice weapons as they appear to have been manufactured in 1919 just after the end of World War I. Each gun and carriage has identification numbers. The west gun, (closest to roadway) has the size and model number on the back of the gun. The carriage number appears to be 424, but the rest of the information is hard to make out due to years of paint build up. Around the muzzel there is printing that reads: ?unreadable? arsenal 1919, 2665 pounds, No. 214 LDA.
The second, east gun, (closest to fence) is in better shape and the markings are easier to read. The size and model number are on the back of the gun. The carriage plaque reads: No 550 4.7 inch gun carriage, model of 1906, Studebaker Corp 1918. The printing around the muzzel reads: Northwestern Ordinance Co 1919, 2665 pounds, No 467 USR.
Notice that the carriage tires are made of hard rubber with wooden rims.
