The Masonic Home Chapel has such beautiful stained glass. The glass is representative of Biblical scenes and depicts The back wall to the rear of the pastor. There are 18 panels, 6 X 3 which form a vertical rectangle, measuring 10' X 15'; this is where the Biblical scenes are. In the background I spied something which reminded me of Ancient reek architecture. Not sure why that is there.
There are several side panels on each side which predate the large panel in the rear. These panels are very green and represent various scenes of nature. On Sundays, we pick up the residents at their room and bring them down here for one of two services so they have their pick when they go to church. It was during one of these volunteering jaunts I discovered the windows.
An internet search revealed the rear glass in the chapel was commissioned in 1988 and is referred to as the Altar Window. To get to the chapel, go in through the main entrance, sign in and go straight making your first left. Walk straight and at the end is the chapel.
