This bronze statue is an America bald eagle with an American Flag in his talons. It is a memorial to PFC Steven R. Ford, US Army, Killed in action in Vietnam, Sept 11th 1967. He was born in Glen Ellyn, IL on Nov 10th 1945.
The statue is in an area that is recently being developed to be a new park in the area of the area of the Bolingbrook Nature Center and the Trout Farm.
