The Yorkshire Penny Bank was originally founded in 1859 in Halifax. This branch was opened in 1895, when Bradford was at its heights as the 'Wool Capital of the World'.

The building was a pub for a while but is currently closed and unused. Modern road development has left it cut off from nearby Manningham, and it is at the very edge of the city centre with not many pedestrians passing it.
Date of construction.: 01/01/1895

Current use of the building.: Unused

Web Address: Not listed
