In the late 1800's Teddy Collins cleared a parcell of land between Golinza and Guitonville PA where he planted apple trees. He hired a man named Mr Hoover and family to over look the orchard. They also supplied hay for the horses from this area. His business thrived here for a few years and petered out. There still to this day still has apple trees there. Over the years the vegatation has thrived and covered up the settlement.
To the north of the black top are a few fields and to the south was a structure that was on a topographical map from 1924. As with the rest of the settlements in the area ,when they were torn down the building materials were removed and reused.
During hay making time Collins would send a crew to the Hoover farm to help harvest the hay. They would stay in an old building only furnished with a few chairs and table. Shown in a photo was a old hay rake used.
They also have beef cattle at this farm.
Further down the dirt road to the north leads to the town of Keppletown and the town of Nebraska.
