The construction of this bridge draws back probably to the 1st century since the way opened by the Emperor Augustus passes over it.
This bridg has two different branches, a roman and a medieval that constitute it.
The roman branche can be identified by their round arches and the medieval by their broken arches.
The bridge has 24 arches and unfortunately today only a few roman survived
The bridge is a national monument.
